how to exit team win recovery project

What the ...? Why did my battery drain so fast and is there a way to get it to charge up long enough to fix anything? We’ll occasionally send you account related emails. The operating system of my phone would be updated from Android 2 point something (don’t remember the exact version), to Android 7. So I decided to run the 2 commands. TWRP should have done this automatically, but perhaps got somehow stuck. Hurrah phone alive again. Whatever I try (removing the battery and putting it back, performing the recommended data, cache and Dalvik wipe or rebooting the system or powering off through the menu of TWRP, restarting through holding down the both the power button and volume up button…), I seem to end up in either of two situations: the TWRP menu, unable to get past it and access my phone as I knew it, or just the familiar start-up screen (black background, and in white letters: “Fairphone”, “powered by Android”). My battery drained super quick in TWRP - even plugged into my computer it went flat in a couple of hours! The latter (where I mostly end up after removing and putting back the battery in order to get the phone to actually turn off), does not however have the blue frame appearing behind “Fairphone” and does not load further, like it normally does when it’s starting up; it’s simply frozen in that state, and remains this way until the battery runs empty and the screen turns black OR if I restart the phone by holding down the power button and volume up button; in that case, I end up in the TWRP menu once again eventually. I’m new to the forum, but I’ve had my Fairphone 2 since August of last year. I followed those instructions (Install” in TWRP’s main menu, then navigate to /cache by tapping “(Up A Level)” and “cache”, and hope fp_update_gms_whatever.zip is still there to select.) You don’t lose anything by just trying to reboot nonetheless. dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/soc.0/7824900.sdhci/by-name/fota bs=16384 Thanks for the info. I’m back to my phone. Thanks a lot for your fast reply anyway!! Anyone who can help get my phone updated? Depending on what exactly you wiped, files will be gone, that’s what Wipe is there for. I’d rather not lose files on my internal storage, I haven’t transferred all of my photo albums or music to my SD card, and I use quite a lot of apps (which I’m afraid I removed by using the TWRP ‘Wipe’ function…) too. This version of tab 4 is quite confidential and its commercialization was stopped very quickly (I understand that there is currently a lawsuit in Netherlands about this model). I tried rebooting (using the ‘reboot’ button in TWRP, the power button for 15 seconds, and taking the battery out) but it restarted into TWRP again. And I need my phone to access my emails. Manually install Fairphone OS for the Fairphone 2 If I do this will it wipe my whatsapp history? Else you can #contactsupport, who will probably suggest the manual install, but who knows. It’s stupid but I got very dependant on this little machine… Was the update file there in /cache and did you install it? Now it’s stuck on the picture “Fairphone Change is in your hands” with the blue spots moving from left to right. I have a Fairphone 2 that has been running fine for a year or more with Android, not sure what version. Would be interesting to know what solved it. The version is TWRP 3.0.0-1 which is the ultimate version developed in 2016 by sub77 (thanks to him) who agreed to provide this service to a tiny community of Samsung SM-T533 users. Would be a shame if I lost them… Apologies for the long post and thanks for your time in advance! Hm. The recommended way to update your Fairphone 2 to the latest software is through the built-in Fairphone Updater app. So my tablet reboot perpetually into TWRP recovery. Does anybody have an idea what I should do to get my phone to function normally again?
