I may regret it tomorrow,  but I added a couple of extra roasted jalapeños. :). I recently moved to south Brazil ( Curitiba region ) and unfortunately people here do not share the zest of spicier foods as their brothers and sisters in the northeast ( Bahia, Rio etc.. ). It was nacho night so i made this and it was great. Second time making the recipe and I love it. Eat it! I have never made my own salsa before but this is the most delicious salsa I have ever had. 5 plum tomato (blank)s roma (plum) tomatoes, seeded and chopped. I love salsa and love making it, but I can’t eat as much as I’d like to because I have kidney disease (and tomatoes aren’t good for me). 3) I reduced the amount of onion…used 1/8th of a red onion the first time I made it, and 1/4-1/2 of a yellow onion this time. I didn’t add any sugar. Turned out great! Very true! Made this today and wow! I just picked a bunch of veggies from the garden last night and I cant wait to make this recipe tonight.
